This weekend Mike Alessi competed in round # 9 of the AMA motocross championships held in New Berlin New York at Unadilla sports center.  This venue draws motocross fans from multiple states in the north east and has a deep and rich moto history that dates back to the origin of the sport.

 

COMP

 

Mike qualified 6th today ...Dungey again outlasted the field in today's race ,while top qualifier James Stewart made his return to motocross after six month lay off due to injury .

 

MEDLEY

 

 Big Thank you to the Herd Family for opening up the infamous Broome Tioga sports center Motocross track located near Binghamton ,New York for Mike Alessi and others riders to train during the week leading up to the AMA motocross national held at Unadilla sports center.

This weekend was an off weekend from AMA pro racing ,so our group traveled north from the previous event held in near Portland Oregon ,to Spokane Washington for the annual privateer national and Alessi riding school to benefit the 1010 environmental campaign to reduce carbon emissions . All in all it was a productive week off we had time to sort out some issues, relax, and enjoy some one on one with fans and riders !

Jeff Alessi competed at the privateer national and his results were 2nd overall in 450cc class and 4th overall in 250cc class

Mike Alessi was featured on the Spokane television morning news ,and later in the evening served as a guest speaker during the live broadcast .

WORKING VACATION : We all took some needed vacation time across the border from Spokane in majestic place called  Coeur d'Alene ( the home town of the huckleberry)
