After a week of extreme scrutiny after last weeks collision with #20
Broc tickle the #800 came to life tonight by winning the heat race then posting the pole position ( top qualifier ) in the Indy sx.
Mike went on to lead 5 laps of the main event and when is just seemed sure that the 800 would be on the second step of the podium disaster struck when mike cross rutted and went over the bars.
Mike 800 turned in the second fastest lap time of the main event and pulled the holeshot in both the heat and main event.
The track in Indy event saw lots of casualty tonight with ma800 included.
Pushing : mike pushed to his absolute max tonight and came away with a heat race win and new found confidence.
Crash: this track would reach out and bite you. This crash cost mike a career high second place result tonight.
Hi tony .... I'm just a 46 year old "nobody" from eastern Kentucky who loves to watch motocross/supercross. I've been to several races in my life from Troy Ohio to the motocross des nations in Buds Creek. I asked my wife to marry me at the 1999 Atlanta supercross. Lol. It saddens my wife and I how the "industry" treat mike and you . I don't have children but I appreciate anyone who postpones their own life to help their kids. I've taught for 23 years and have seen the opposite many times. Any way My wife and I wish you, mike and moto concepts future success and tell mike to keep leading laps....it will give the "industry" something to bitch about lol
Dear Mike. I am writing you to let you know how much my son Darrell Dobbs likes you as a fan. He supports you and still defends you after this past Atlanta weekend. We hope this incident doesn't happen but you have to defend your self or you will get run over. He was so happy you gave him a high five at Atlanta. We was trying to get an autograph but could never get close. Thanks again and good luck for the rest of the season. Dennis Dobbs.
